Good morning everyone. The Pack ended up with barely a win (yeah) and my disk clean has definitely helped the speed of my computer. We’ll see what happens when I get going for the day though.
- Checked my Big Crumbs earnings; I was pleased to find out I had earned some “crumbboosters” which is cashback from a purchase someone made when clicking through an offer through my link without signing up or signing in to their member account.
- I think I’m going to go through Down On Our Luck and find all of the old links for a domain that I no longer own.
- Finally finished going through Down On Our Luck for old mybigcrumbs links. Visit my site on Tuesday to learn more about why I had to do this.
- Wrote a new post at DOOL about updating my favorites page. I need to think of something fun to write about on Saturdays so I can stay a little on track.
- Updated my Nintendo WII skins lens. It has been some time since I’ve shown this poor lens some love and it should have a lot of potential with a little love. I’m thinking of splitting this one up like I did the Nintendo DS Skins lens. My traffic on that lens jumped after I split it. I’ll save more about that for All Squidoo All the Time.

I forgot to publish the last couple of days, so I had to remember to hit the publish button this AM. Other than that, things are pretty normal here.
- I ended up following some tweet links and digging a couple of articles. My username is Divaduh on Digg; feel free to add me as a friend.
- I wrote a new blog post at Shopping on Squidoo (I need a new title) about the new lensmaster profile layout. Trying to make an arrow that is turned just took up way too much of my morning. But is was a good learning experience in Macromedia Fireworks and vector graphics in general.
- I forgot that I had never set up a privacy policy on Shopping on Squidoo. I just did a copy and past of the one I used on Down On Our Luck and replaced the domain reference.
- Started with the daunting task of relisting video games in my eBay store. Due to a change I’m making; I need to change every listing. I started out all ambitious tonight, but the PC is working way too slow and it’s way too freaking hot and muggy. It’s definitely time for a long needed defrag and disk clean.
- I finished the day with watching the Packers game with some friends.

I woke up a little later than usual this morning due to a retirement party that I was at last night. I’m thinking I’ll have a chance to be pretty busy tonight though.
- Of course, I checked my Big Crumbs account.
- I decided to combine the 15th and 16th because yesterday didn’t bring much.
- I found an extremely touching story this morning and had to build a new lens about it. You can check it out at 2 Dogs 2000 Miles. All money from this lens is donated and I posted a comment on their blog seeing if they would like to have the lens transferred to them. It’s just a little way for myself to give back which is part of what Squidoo is all about.

Finally, a morning where I can get some updating done as well as other things. Let’s see how well I stay on track.
- Built my latest lens, Aaron Rodgers, this morning. I’m sure I’ll think of more to add to this as time goes on.
We had some friends stop over tonight so I didn’t have a chance to get anything else done for the day.

- I started right away on my Tampa Bay Buccaneers lens and got that off my plate since I didn’t finish it yesterday. Aligning things correctly took way too much time. Hopefully the other team schedule lenses take less time.
- Added a couple of people to follow on Twitter.
- Lensrank must be updating; taking way too long to publish my changes. I’ve been dinking around with this for over an hour; I have to move on or I’ll just get frustrated and give up.
- Finally got the Tampa Bay lens published and I’ve updated my Green Bay Packers lens as well. Getting these set up at the beginning of the season is extremely putsy so I have to move on to something else before I go nuts.
- Toying with the idea of getting rid of my Guess Now lens. I don’t use the site anymore because I’m constantly taken to a cell phone ringtone site.
- I put another cat picture up at One Million Pet Pics.
- Spent way too much time at catster, of course I have to read the sad stories which turn me into a blubbering idiot. It’s a good thing the DH wasn’t home, he would have yelled at me. If you have a cat there, feel free to add Bud as a friend. Please warn me first if your profile is for a kitty that has crossed over. I’ll need to get some tissue first.

Woo hoo, it’s 8/8/08 and I have the day off. I can’t wait to get started on some projects that I’ve been thinking up all week.
- I updated my Brett Favre lens which needed a little polishing.
- I set up a Football ID to transfer all of my football related lenses to. Built a new lensography of my football lenses and now I have to transfer them all to the new ID. I’ll be updating many of the season schedule lenses with new content and adding their schedules shortly. Transferring that many lenses is a lot of work, there should be a bulk transfer option available.
- I updated my Tampa Bay Buccaneers lens with this season schedule along with some new content. I didn’t finish this one, but I did in the morning.
I finished the day by watching the Olympic opening ceremonies and falling asleep in the chair.

It’s another early morning here, hopefully that means I’ll be getting a lot done.
- Logged into Facebook due to a new friend request. My password is always hosed, everytime I try to login I have to reset it.
- I worked some more on my Ladies Pink NFL Jerseys lens trying to get more products featured. I was turned down by the NFL network as an affiliate which would have given me more options. Oh well, I try with them again later. If a seller had a pink jersey, why the heck wouldn’t they put pink in the title? GRR. Finished the NFC on this lens, I’ll have to come back to this tomorrow as my eyes are crossing right now trying to get the searches right.
- Read a great blog post at Captain Squid: 8 Must Have Firefox Extensions For Lensbuilding.
- A comment received yesterday made me take a look at Brenda K Carter which is my bio lens. Wow, that needed some updating and some much needed rewrites.
My mother called last night so I was not able to get back on the computer for the day.

I had a difficult time getting back to Squidtop today to publish my post from yesterday so today’s listing might not be that accurate.
- Changed the link to my Pokemon Nintendo DS Skins lens from my Nintendo DS Skins lens to look like it is meant to be part of the table of contents. Had to update the DS Skins again because my original link was wrong. The DS Skins lens hit a milestone for myself yesterday; at some point yesterday I had over 200 visitors within the last 7 days, I have never had that many visitors on any of my lenses.
- Downloaded the new Entrebar from Entrecard. I’m excited to try it out, but I can’t login.
- Spent a little time pricing fiberglass extension ladders. DH bent the one his boss lent him after using it for only a half an hour. I am so upset about this. From what I can find, they cost between $200-$300. I wish he would think sometimes.
- Set up Thunderbird as my new email client; I finally figured out what the heck was wrong with my Yahoo account as well. So far I don’t think Thunderbird drags on my system as much.
- Updated my Antique Singer Sewing Machine lens. Just a little tweaking and tag adding, nothing major.
- Started playing around with new SEO Software: Traffic Travis. Started a lens with a personal review. Checked Squidoo for anything close and things look promising.
We ended up with company after this, so I was pretty much done for the day.

Like I said yesterday, I just couldn’t keep my eyes open long enough to finish eating last night. I was out like a light by 7:45. Anyways, happy August 1st to everyone.
- Of course, I checked my Big Crumbs earings.
- Posted a new blog post about helping a fellow lensmaster at All Squidoo All the Time.
- Logged into Twitter to see if I’ve missed anything the last couple of days. I was using Tweetdeck, but for some reason it seems to slow down my computer. It’s probably time to upgrade my RAM or at least do some hard drive cleaning.
- Made a trip to the Giant Squid Journal from the RSS feed I’m subscribed to. GypsyOwl has a great blog with great tips.
- I also made a point to stop over at Unconventional Marketing and thank Josh for the kind words about Down On Our Luck. I will definitely take his advice, it’s good and would give me a rest on thinking of new content for a day.
I needed a little time to have fun last night, so we went to the husband’s grandmother’s house for a big ‘ole bonfire. Sitting back and having a drink really hit the spot for an extremely productive weekend.

In my post about time management over at my Squidoo blog, I wrote about how I’ll be tracking the time I spend online here. Don’t worry, it won’t be a timeline, but I won’t be digging into why I did something either. If you want to know the why, please visit my Squidoo blog.
- I started the day off by writing a new post about how I’ll be using this squidtop blog to earn some extra backlinks and manage my time a little better.
- I then dropped 50 Entrecards for my Squidoo Blog. Ok, so I went a litte overboard and chain dropped from the first page of my inbox. That’s the danger of this little program. Ended up droping 91 cards.
- Signed up for a Gravitar. Grr, bcarter is taken already.
- Bookmarked moreniche.com while dropping. I wonder if I’ll get back to sign up.
- Commented on Retroblog.com
- Added Make Money Shopping to The Kingdom of Squid.
- Checked my Big Crumbs stats and updated my spreadsheet. Not a referral anywhere for 3 days? I’ll have to do something about that. I’m loving the new facebook app they came up with
- Yesterday I built a new lens for One Million Pet Pics; we’re always looking for more pets to feature if you’re interested. Our Squidoo lens isn’t much, but it’s another way to get the word out about our site.
That’s about it for the 28th of July.
